2017 Wanderlust World Guide Awards

Gold Winner: Khalid Lamlih

Khalid Lamlih has become one of the most sought after guides in Morocco. 2017 was a huge year for this passionate tour guide who was awarded the Peak DMC Global Guide of the Year for 2016 in Melbourne, Australia in March 2017.

Following this, Khalid was nominated from thousands of applicants as one of 3 finalists for the Wanderlust World Guide Awards in London, in October 2017.

Khalid was presented the Gold Award by prized travel writer Bill Bryson, and awarded a bursary to which he will be funding supplies for a school for nomad children in the Middle Atlas mountains.
